Dobromir Delev: 5th to 1st!

At the 2009 California State Championships 24 year old 5'8" Dobromir Delev placed 5th in the light heavy class:





Earlier this month on May 2nd in Boston, MA Dobri not only won the light heavies, but went on to win the overall title at the 2010 Jay Cutler Classic:





Born January 6, 1985 in Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria, Dobri won the 2008 Mr. Titan contest in London and competed at the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Bulgarian Championships (and each year he stepped up a weight class)! With an off season weight of 220lbs, 21" guns and a 54" chest we are going to be seeing a lot of this guy... trust me!

Jir� Borkovec: Swiss Champ!

I first posted about youngster Jir� last June around the time of the 2009 Musclemania,where he disappointed himself and only placed 2nd in the heavies. In his first outing since then, the 2010 WABBA Switzerland Championships on May 18, Jir� won his class and the overall title, at, what he considers on 90% of his peak conditioning!







June will be a busy month with the NAC Worlds on the 5th, NABBA Czech Republic Nationals on the 12th and NABBA Worlds on the 19th! And in the meantime follow him at his website!

Manager202: YouTube Builder

Known as Manager202 on YouTube, Pennsylvanian natural bodybuilder Ross Mattis is one big man! The 5'8" 33 year old from Villanova weighs in at 260lbs off season (though has gotten as high as 295lbs), with a contest weight of between 220 to 230lbs. With 21" biceps and a 52" chest the Applied Nutriceuticals sponsored builder came in 3rd at the 2008 NPC Philadelphia Championship, and then won the heavies at the 2009 NPC Chamberlain Cup! He has his own personal training business AND is president of Lionstone Insurance Advisors LLC.

????? ??????: aka Sergiy Muchak

5'9" ????? ??????, or Sergiy Muchak in English, placed 5th in the super heavies this last weekend at the 2010 European Amateur Championships. The former Ukrainian Bodybuilding Champion from Lutzk, who competed as a heavyweight in the 2009 European Amateurs and placed 2nd, is a personal trainer in his hometown. On April 18 he also competed at the East European Championships in Saint-Peterburg, Russia (the video follows):

Greg Doucette: 210lbs!

Here is Greg Doucette, one of my Countdown to Christmas guys, currently tipping the scales at an off season weight of 210lbs. The 34 year old Nova Scotian who competed as a middleweight (i.e. 176lbs) at the 2009 Canadian Nationals (placing 3rd) can bench press 380lbs!
