Q.Do you believe in workout programs like Insanity or P90X?
A. Not for competitiors. For people who just want to lose weight and be healthy I think any exercise program is great!


Q.What competitions have you participated in and what were the results?
A.2008 NPC Ironman-local IL Show-First/Overall Middleweight
2009 Jr. Usa’s-First/Overall Middleweight
2010 Jr. Nationals-2nd place Middleweight


Q.What do you wish you had known before you started doing shows?
A. How expensive it gets! LOL! How hard it would be and how it takes over your life!

Q.How long have you been training?
A. 4 years

Q.What was your body like before you started training?
A. Overweight and chubby

Q.How do you keep yourself motivated and on-track through the grueling dieting in the last few weeks?
A. Tried to remember that the food will still be there when I am done dieting. Tried to remember my goal and why I compete.

Q.Do you get more attention from the people now that you are in such good shape?
A. Yes and no. Strangers…yes Cute single men………No…LOL!

Q.What is the one key piece of advice you could pass on to our readers?
A. Compete for yourself and no one else. Compete against no one else but yourself. This was a HARD lesson for me to learn this year.

Q.What is your favorite energy/pre-workout supplement? Protein supplement?
A. I love all of the SPECIES products. They all work great and are quality products. I think their Vanilla Peanut Protein is the best tasting protein on the market!

Q.How many days a week do you work out?
A. 5-6
