Dan Newmire: Road to the Nationals

31 year old Dan Newmire from Marietta, GA, as he gets ready for his upcoming shows the NPC Coastals and the 2010 Nationals in Atlanta.

Here he is 10 weeks out from the Coastal show and 18 from the Nationals:



And then 7 weeks and 16 weeks out respectively from the two shows:



Super heavy Dan did not compete in 2009. In 2008 he won his class and the overall at both the Gold's Gym Southeastern Classic and Georgia State Championships, but didn't place at the Nationals that year.

Brian Yersky: Road to the USA (2)

I first posted about super heavy Brian Yersky in the run up to last year's NPC USA Championships where he placed 8th in his class at 245lbs.

Over on the MD forums Brian is again getting ready for this year's competition. Here he is 4 and a half weeks out (in the pictures) and a little earlier at 6 weeks in the video:

More Eli: West Coast Champ!

A week after his middleweight class win at the Junior Nationals, Eli Blahut moved up a class and pulled it altogether for Lonnie Teper's West Coast Classic last Saturday, June 26th, at the El Monte High School Auditorium in El Monte, CA. Eli moved up to the light-heavy class, winning the class and then the overall championship title.
