Brazilian born Silvio Samuel Saviour moved to Nigeria when he was young boy and by 14 he was part of the Nigerian national weightlifting team, setting powerlifting records for Nigeria and Africa that have yet to be broken.
The 5'7" 34 year old was hospitalized in 2010 for a �upper respiratory infection� and has yet to announce further competitive plans. Silvio was known for undertaking a heavy competitive schedule. In 2007 he competed 8 times, winning the Europa Super Show, placing 2nd in Sacramento and 7th at the Olympia. He cut the number of shows down to 5 in 2008 and 2009, and was then scheduled to compete at the Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Tampa Pro this year before his illness.
